The social and economic condition in Arewa is still below the average level. To increase the welfare of the people there, the government cooperates with the NGOs create some projects. They build new schools, issue micro loans, and offer others help to get their smile back. In education field, the organizations try to give more school books for the students. They want each student has one book to support their learning process. Their first target is to help the children at least finish the primary education. To increase the health; especially for women and children; they increase the budget for the health care. Mostly, families in Arewa are very poor so that they can’t pay for the medical treatment. With the health cabin and the other health projects, now they can enjoy a healthier life. Women also start to get more attention since their rights are often neglected.
